This weekend my best friend of many many years returned to where we have all grown up. We had a welcome home party for him and it was so great to finally get to give him a hug. It reminded me that a true connection can never fade despite the time and despite the distance.
Time goes by so quickly though, and it really hurts me. I don't know if everyone is affected quite as physically and pasisonately as I do... but I am. The joy from my memories and the hurt from them fading further into the past physically hurt my heart. If I could just make a wish and stop time, and bring every positive and happy moment of my life into that single moment on pause... I'd soak in it. I'd soak in it like I do this photo... a perfect example of a collection of memories on pause. <3
